BACKGROUND: Dental disease is a significant public health problem. Various efforts have been made to maintain oral by utilizing natural ingredients from plants. One of the often used among community Vegetable Starfruit Juice (Averrhoa bilimbi) and Rosella Tea. AIM: The purpose this study was analyze effectiveness rosella tea (Hibiscus sabdariffa L) on Inhibition Plaque Formation. METHODS: Design research an experimental with post-test design only. conducted in Gampong Batoh, Lueng Bata District, Banda Aceh City, June 26 October 04, 2021. population City. sample purposive sampling technique. met criteria willing assist implementing signing informed consent. number samples 40 people. RESULTS: results showed difference juice inhibition plaque formation based time duration (p < 0.05). group that rinsed solution had more effective than vegetable (A. Tea contain bioactive compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins can act antibacterial agents inhibiting growth Staphylococcus aureus. CONCLUSION: (H. effectively inhibit dental plaque.
